Finally getting around to blogging some more 2013 work (yes I realize it’s now 2014 haha) Let’s hope that within the next couple of weeks I can actually get “caught up” …oh who am I kidding? “Caught up” is always just meant to be some far off fantasy concept and I’ve accepted that 😉
This is a post I’ve been really looking forward to sharing– Linda & Eric both met while working at Earls Tin Palace here in Edmonton and over the course of a year their friendship grew into love. Fast-forward now to their wedding day, and everything’s come full circle. After saying their “I do’s” the first pit stop they wanted to make along with their wedding party was to the place where it all started. This sort of sentimental gesture really encapsulates what these two are all about and what they wanted their special day to be all about. And as I’ve come to know them better from their engagement session ’til now– I see how awesome they both are and why they’re surrounded by so many wonderful people who really love them.
Linda & Eric’s wedding was all about love, family, friends and celebration. The day was packed full of beautiful traditions and stunning details… but it was also so relaxed and heartfelt. Here’s some of my favourite shots from their beautiful day~
Anytime one of my brides tells me their ceremony is going to be at St. Joseph’s Basilica I do a little happy dance. It’s one of my favourite venues for a wedding– so romantic with such grand and ornate details.
Linda & Eric– could you two be any more beautiful?? These last shots of Eric sweeping Linda off her feet just kill me– I think I gasped out loud after snapping them 🙂
Linda & Eric~ Thank you so much for always being so gracious and kind. You’re both beautiful, lovely, funny people who bring out the best in each other and those around you. Thank you so much for letting me capture your day!
Special thanks to my AWESOME second shooter for the day Miranda. You, my friend, are not only talented but an absolute blast to spend a 11 hour day with! Love you!
Another big thanks to all the awesome vendors who helped bring Linda & Eric’s vision to life:
